Emilia is an HCPC Registered Art Psychotherapist working in English and Romanian with children, young people and adults. Her approach is person-centred, relational and contextual. She understands responses to adversity not in isolation, but within the wider systems that shape a person’s life. By exploring how relationships, family, culture, community and environments connect with current difficulties, art psychotherapy can support understanding and meaningful change.

Emilia worked with people navigating change, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, identity or belonging, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences.

Although art psychotherapy is non-directive, the sessions can be shaped purposefully around what matters to the person, what they want to understand, and where they want to move towards. Sessions may involve talking, art making, or both, and creative work is always optional.

Her background includes Art Psychotherapy, Applied Psychology, Forensic Psychology and Victimology, Business Psychology, Psychological Profiling and Behavioural Analysis. You can find out more about Emilia here https://www.visualtalks.co.uk
