As a Dance Movement Psychotherapist, Katherine believes in tuning in and paying attention to your body when exploring experiences and emotions. She supports clients to understand the subtle emotional signals and tiny gut responses which may impact work, social, and private lives. She works alongside clients as they take some time to breathe and (re)find their internal strength and footing.
Katherine works with adults from a range of backgrounds. Her approach is integrative, which means she draws from different psychotherapeutic models with a person-led approach. What is most important to her is building a safe and supportive relationship with each client she works with - providing space to unpick tangles and explore what is important to each individual.
While Katherine’s approach is grounded in exploring bodily experience, she also utilises other creative modalities. This includes drawing and using clay, using a sand therapy tray, or making sound together with small instruments, as well as verbal reflection.
